Susie and Mike dalrymple
Farewell to Janet,who was a perfect neighbour and friend,many hours spent discussing plants and fauna and sharing and our knowledge. The last couple of years was difficult for her to cope with, but always had to chat and laugh. She was well loved in the village by her old students and friends. She will leave an empty space in our lives, but now reunited with Alan.

Thoughts
"I know Mrs Chisholm - 'Janet', by name, but only called so latterly by us, it always seemed too familiar to use with one so admired! - followed my career closely and was always interested in what I was doing over the years, as well as the children from my school. She told me once she used to cut out all reference to me and Ashurst Primary from the weekly West Sussex County Times, when mentioned."
